The catalogue for an exhibition held at the Mona Bismarck Foundation to commemorate the 10 year anniversary of her death. The exhibition focussed on the links between Mona Bismarck and her favourite couturier, Balenciaga, and the man who photographed her so many times in his clothes, Cecil Beaton. There are numerous sketches and photographs of Balenciaga's designs for Bismarck, as well as a series of photographs taken by Beaton of her in the Hotel Lambert, Paris (previously home of the Baron de Rede) and the Villa Fortino, Capri. The catalogue also includes memories from her friends - Cecil Beaton, Diana Vreeland, Lady Mosley, Valentine Abdy and the Baron de Rede.
