The memoirs of Carmel Snow, editor of Harper's Bazaar, recorded on tape just before her death in 1961. During her life-time and through her work, Snow met everyone involved in fashion and the arts during the middle years of the twentieth century. The encounters are recorded here alongside photographs taken by greats such as Hoyningen-Huene, Beaton, Avedon and Dahl-Wolfe.
