A complete set of Frances Partridge's remarkable diaires. Partridge was a lively figure within the Bloomsbury group and was married to Ralph Partridge, after the death of his previous wife Dora Carrington. Her seven volumes of diaries encompass a life rich in friends, travel, art and personal highs and lows. They begin with the war years, when the Partridge's house Ham Spray became a refuge for many of their pacifict friends. The final volume was published in 2001 when Frances was 101.
