LIBRARIES
We provide a Library Curation service for private and commercial clients, building libraries and filling bookshelves with a unique, cultured and stimulating mix of books. Every library we curate is bespoke and no two libraries are ever the same. It’s a process akin to creating a hand-made Savile Row suit. To ensure that each library is perfectly tailored to the personality, interests and requirements of the client, we follow a detailed three step process – Measure – Make – Maintain.

MEASURE
Throughout the library build process we work hand-in-hand with clients (private individuals, designers, collectors, dealers, galleries, hotels and businesses) to ensure that the final bookshelves fit their required needs. As well as measuring the shelves, we assess the design and aesthetic of the space. We work with clients to establish the subjects they are interested in, the required mix of old and new books, the look and feel of the shelves, the logistics and time frame, and the budget. Curating a library is a fine balance between creating the perfect backdrop for the space and providing a rich source of engaging, original and enjoyable reading material.
MAKE
Once we have established the desired look and content for the library, we will start sourcing the books. We have years of experience with this and source titles from across the globe. While our expertise lies with books on art and culture, we can supply books on history, nature, philosophy, fiction, poetry, food and drink, science, biography, current affairs, classics, etc. We have expert knowledge of the established classics as well as more unique and unusual titles, and we hand-pick each book based on both its subject matter and its visual appeal. As each library is bespoke, we will take time to ensure that the mix of books is just right. We will arrange delivery of the collection and we also offer an installation service.

MAINTAIN
Our libraries are built to last a lifetime and will grow and evolve with their owners. With this in mind, we can replenish and augment the library as needs and interests change. We can also supply newly published titles that are essential to an established library, as well as replacements for lost or borrowed titles.
