[Henri Cartier-Bresson]

A selection of Henri Cartier-Bresson's most notable portraits, selected by the photographer himself. Seven decades of portraits are illustrated including images of anonymous subjects alongside photographs of famous personalities such as Picassso, Capote, Monroe, Chanel, Satre and Lucian Freud. Cartier-Bresson selected and laid out the images, carefully creating a visual dialogue between the subjects. A handful of his pencil drawings are also included.
