A new selection of photographs by Joan Leigh Fermor, published as a companion volume to The Photographs of Joan Leigh Fermor. Artist and Lover (2018). Olivia Stewart again delves into the archive of 5,000 images housed at the National Library of Scotland. Leigh Fermor always carried her camera when travelling and the book includes images of the landscape and people of Tunisia, Kurdistan, the Caribbean, Turkey, France, Spain, Lebanon, Italy, and of course Greece. The final chapter reproduces snapshots of Leigh Fermor's friends in Greece, including her husband Paddy, John Craxton, Cyril Connolly, Niko and Barbara Ghika.
