A scarce item relating to the Cuban dancer Jorge Lago and Yves Saint Laurent. Lago was 25 when the portfolio was produced and at the time was the lover of Yves Saint Laurent. He had just appeared in Roland Petit's productions of 'La Revue' and 'Zizi Je t'aime!' at the Casino de Paris , for which Saint Laurent designed some of the costumes. Lago was an attractive man and the 5 loose images show him both in and out of clothes. The front cover of the folder has a portrait design by Yves Saint Laurent, with an additional design using his name on the inside. The rear cover reproduces a b&w photo by Jean-Loup Sieff. A short biography of Lago is printed on the inside in French, English and Spanish.
