An illustrated study of Donald Judd's home-studios in New York and Texas. 101 Spring Street in Manhatten and the Ayala de Chinati ranch in Texas were created by Judd as places to both work and live. He applied his rigourous approach to form and function to the furniture, interiors, architecture and landscape. His designs are illustrated with archive and contemporary photographs, as well as reproductions of his drawings. Five essays complete the book.
