A survey of the life and work of John Craxton, published to accompany the exhibition at Pallant House Gallery in 2023. The book explores Craxton's artworks from the 1940s into the 2000s, placing them in their artistic context in Britain and in Craxton's adopted homeland of Greece. Craxton's dust jackets and book illustrations are also discussed. Several essays by a variety of authors are accompanied by numerous illustrations.
