A vintage 1970s brochure for the bathroom suppliers Armitage Shanks. The subtitle reads 'Everything you need to know to plan, modernise, or improve your bathroom' and sections cover family bathrooms, flooring, colour, small bathrooms, ventilation and heating, adding luxury, 'Living with your toilet' and 'The Ubiquitous bidet', and the finishing touches. Completely of its time, the brochure promotes colourful sanitaryware (flamingo, pampas, avocado, primrose, etc.,  with white coming last) and a sunken bath surrounded by plush carpet. Colour photos reveal the designs in action.
