[George Platt Lynes. Monroe Wheeler. Glenway Wescott]

In 1925 three Americans met and formed a close ménage-à-trois; they were the photographer George Platt Lynes, the publisher Monroe Wheeler, and the writer Glenway Westcott. The trio travelled together around inter-war Europe and the photographs taken on their youthful escapades are reproduced here. Jean Cocteau, Christian Bérard, Paul Robeson, Gertrude Stein, Alice B. Toklas and many other cultural figures make an appearance.
